Deviant SheLuminati 2018

A number of years ago, I did a bit of fanart of some of the heroines of the DA superhero community in the vein of the cover for Marvel's Illuminati.

There was no real story behind it, I just wanted to show some love.
Today, I decided to rework that idea for prettymuch the same reason.
I almost did the same pic, but, I realized that Ripstar had been written out of existence.
And Dasien's look has been changed drastically.
And 2 of those creators, and thus, their characters, aren't really ON DA anymore.
So - all different ladies, yeah?
Then, another thought struck me - A secret cabal of supers operating in the shadows to control every damn thing would be VILLAINS!
(Yes, I am looking at YOU, Charles Xavier and Tony Stark, ya sanctimonious pricks!!! *ahem* I digress.... but I really don't like those guys.)

Anywho, I went with giving the bad girls some love. Doing this little project, however, re-drove-home something I noticed about us superhero creators a long time ago - We are really er, 'deficient'(?) when it comes to making villains.
I note in 'official' comics, each hero has his or her rogues gallery. Usually, a solo hero has at least 5 or 6 villains of their own, and every team has at least 3 solo villains and one 'opposite number' team that they have to contend with.
However, we OC creators tend to make BUNCHES of heroes, and relatively few villains!
Honestly, it took me almost twice as long to look up villainesses as it did to draw this!
I wanted to use the villains of DA folks that I actually interact with and/or are huge fans of, and not use 2 characters from the same person. 
(I was tempted to use a second one of my own, but didn't.)
Some of the ones I found were actually fanarts in themselves of other creators' characters that I wasn't familiar with!

Nerlana, The Serpent Sorceress from She brings the magic!
Lady Valmorri from The Duchess of Hell makes for a good chairwoman of this crooked crew!
Scarlet Scorpion from Our prerequisite remorseless assassin!
Quiet from Stealth is key for a baddie team's thief, and very few are as stealthy as she is!
